Billy Lam

Founder and Director Billy began Ever Architects after volunteering on exchange at Aerne Architect & Associates, Phnom Penh in 2015.  He has since delivered a range of mid-range and high-end projects throughout South-East Queensland.

Born in Hong Kong, Billy grew up and was educated in Brisbane, and began working in architecture in 2010.  He brings a distinct voice to our industry, where care of people is at the forefront of his practice.  This translates to a willingness to question the status quo, and a commitment to listen, understand and walk alongside clients.  Shunning the notion of a ‘starchitect’, he works with quiet confidence, dedication and integrity, and forms deep, constructive relationships with Clients, Consultants and Contractors alike.  Across budgets and sectors, he seeks to create spaces that are marked by a sense of peace derived through connection to nature.

Today Billy leads Ever Architects and works as an all-rounder overseeing our studio.
