  • We’re not here to impress you — we’re here to support you. To walk with you. To listen well, work hard, and build something that genuinely matters.

    We will start your project with a Detailed Briefing session involving multiple members of the team.  Looking after you means getting to know your needs and desires deeply.

    Over the course of your project, you will likely interact with the whole team.  While the Architects have a direct responsibility in overseeing the projects, we are firm believers in shared exploration, collaborative creation and pushing each other constantly.  We believe that each staff member has been gifted in unique ways, and we believe in rightful attribution of each other’s work.  We know that the team environment drive better outcomes than if we were in our own silos working alone. 

    We aim to walk with kindness - this is not being soft, but this is how we hold space for complexity, creativity and long-term value.  We’re not “nice” for the sake of it; our warmth is purposeful.  It helps unlock complexity, deepen collaboration, and deliver outcomes that last.

    So there’s no need for pretense, no secret wizardry, no agendas.  Instead, the Ever team will welcome you into our world of considered, joyful collaboration.  You will participate and have a say in how your project evolves as it takes shape.  You will be understood, listened to, respected and honoured.  We promise to walk with you — openly, thoughtfully, and with integrity — from start to finish. 

    Good process drives great outcomes, which in turn results in good impacts that ripple out.  We look forward to walking with you to create something truly enduring and meaningful.

  • We’re on the lookout for commericial clients who yearn for something better. To strive with us to create interesting, life-giving commercial projects - activated places that benefit neighbourhoods and communities.

  • We typically walk with our clients through the entire process - including interiors, colours and finishes, and fixture selections.

  • Clients come to us with all different kinds of preparation - anything from a blank sheet and an open mind, to detailed briefs, sketched plans of all different kinds; and some even with AI generated images.

    We will treat your plans as a starting point to understand what you’re looking for. From there, we ask for an open mind as we explore and uncover optimal solutions for your site and brief. Our design process involves a lot of ideation, internal critique, and challenging/pushing one another. It’s almost certain that things will evolve from any starting point.

    We don’t apologise for being thorough (or even over-the-top) in the Concept Design stage. This is the time when an Architect’s skills can have maximum effect on bang-for-buck and a successful outcome.

  • We calculate our fees using a standard Fee Schedule. Generally you’ll find our fees somewhere in the middle of the market, but what we promise is time - committing to understand, design and refine in creating something deeply meaningful and personal.

  • We work with other Consultants to help deliver your project. Commercial projects, even at small suburban-scale, can be surprisingly Consultant-intensive. We’re here to help coordinate this process on your behalf.

  • There are definitely Builders that we have established successful working relationships with.

    As we step through your project, we would love to introduce you to builders who are suited to your project.

  • We usually work for clients who are deeply attached and involved to their projects. By nature this means that decisions may take some time as things are carefully considered, and there’s a certain degree of to-and-fro as we step through. Our posture is to be professional but not rigid.

    We expect most projects to take somewhere between 12-18 months in the design and planning stage - noting that this varies widely depending on scope, complexity and also the client themselves. It does help us if the project’s momentum is upheld along the way.
